Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours a hazy reddish copper with a frothy beige head. Tried to escape from the bottle. Aromas of sweet malt with floral hop. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Seems well balanced with roasted malt and floral hop. In the end it really hits the back edges of the tongue with bitter. Could be some resin. 100 IBU is possible. Not harsh.

Very hazy dark orange pour, with a frothy, lasting head - the nose is equal parts doughy and fruity (orange, tangerine), with some herbal spiciness on the back - very full in the mouth - strong, astringent bitterness - a sticky, barleywine-like character is behind that (toffee, fruity esters) - the bitterness is a little too much, and it adds a metallic note here and there, but this is decent.

Hazy dark amber color; big head. The hop aroma lasts for a short moment, quite surprisingly. It has medium body strength, with strong caramel flavor, very strong bitterness, some resins, too much roasted malt for such a beer, mostly spoiling the final. Overall, the harsh bitterness and dark caramel spoil this beer, while a bit more sweetness and fruitness would save it. To be improved.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark copper with a egg shell coloured head. Citrus aroma. Very true to the style, dosent have the same resemblance of an Barley wine as some DIPAs have. Good body and well balanced!

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a huge, tan head and a hazy orange body with great lace and good retention. Aroma of pine hops, some spice and herbal ones too (I get some Centennial). Taste is earthy and herbal hops with a nice caramel quality backing it up. Light bubbles. Good beer.

Bottle. Rich bronze beer with a huge light tan head. Light citrusy aroma with a bit of pine and woodsiness. Caramel, woodsy flavor with some light burnt sugar and a good amount of hops - citrus/pine. Good bitterness. Woodsiness lingers with lots of pine resin and some grapefruit over a bit of caramel malt.
