We got together with our good friend Kyle at Horus to come up with something wild! A blood red triple west coast IPA with a big does of Nelson, Motueka & Citra hops then hit with hibiscus. Expect everything you love about a big west coast triple and then everything you wouldn't expect when it pours blood red, Hawk's blood red!

Holy cow, that's a red beer! Maybe the most red beer I've ever had. Anyway the aromas are mainly old hops with some herbs, floral and maybe a bit of citrus. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, bittersweet becoming more bitter. Citrus comes out a little more. Kind of sorry I bought a four pack.

23rd December 2021 found me in TAPS Brewery and Barrel Room, Tustin. A four beer flight was chosen by myself and consumed by myself too; this was one of those 4oz pours. Bright cherry red, clean and clear; pink wisp and collar. It's hoppy, but my eyes and senses were convinced it should taste and smell of cherries. Interesting and enjoyable, the 11% ABV helped too!
