Draught@EBF
Murky dark color, small beige head. Light licorice, light woody notes. Cold coffee and tobacco flavors, a bit sweet edge. Not as alcoholic as ABV indicates. Interesting and enjoyable beer.

Draught No head, jet-black beer, looking funnily watery on visual. Cassis (blackcurrant) in the nose, good carbon-burnt, very fruity at the same time. Again very markedly cassis flavour, the beer being both fruity and roasted. Bit oily, and some spice - DA says lavender. Very oily, smooth as none, yet not really giving a well bodied impression. Alcohol very present. Very good one in my book.

From tap. Pours dark brown to black with fully gone head. Aroma is yeasty and dense hopy with spiced note of annis and and spices. Flavour is dry and slight spiced with a mild spice note into the far finish with a mild coriander spice presence. Annis seed into the far finish. Slight herbal too.

From tap at Lord Nelson as t´he mix-up Brøckhouse 25 - somewhat a mix between 12 and 13. Pours pitch black with a light chocolate brown head. Sweet fruity and lovely brett. Dark flemish brown for nose and into the flavour. Lovely fruity and roasted malty flavoured. Smooth brettish and slight pebbery into a lovely medium dry finish. Lasting fruity and pebbery impression.8-4-8-4-17=4.1

++Draught at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen.++ Very dark brown, no head. Rich aroma of chocolate and vanilla. Sweet and full bodied. The chocolate and molasses gets company from licorice vanilla and oak. The usually aggressive EPIC Stout has mellowed in the barrel, the sweetness is a bit much, but doesn’t go overboard. Milder and more well rounded than expected, although it has some edges.

EBF2008,tap Aroma aged stout, quite weak aroma actually, esp for the alc.%, probably due to aging and a too small sample. clear dark brown beatulful pour, with yellow/brown head, i had a lot of trouble describing my sensations as i tasted this, but came up with this meta-description : sour notes wreck an otherwise decent attempt at a belgian bruine. in other words, it tasted kinda weird to me. weird in and of itself, and weird to description. I did double check i got it from the #12 tap ;-). i had been looking forward to sampling this one, if the brewer is watching : try again. great project! [4,3,7,3,13] re.rate jan 2014. old bottle at yespr tasting. pitch dark, almost no head. roasted malts, some mild spices, some oxidation, strong aroma, alc. well hidden, just poewrfull malty nose, not boozy. flavor is strong roasted malty, honey notes, good honey and roasted malts aftertaste, has aged very well, faint note of raisins and dark fruits, but roasted malts dominate... tasty..
