On tap at Modist, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has gentle hops, light oak, and spicy Saaz. Flavour has nice spicy Saaz hops, some woody hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Oaky, spicy, and crisp. Good stuff.

Pint can from Niemuth's, 2/2/23. Hazy orange with some particles. Large white head, average retention. Aroma fo bready malt, herbal Noble hops, buttery malt. Taste is citrus, bready malt, lemon, passionfruit. A bit of vanilla probably from the oak but the oak isn't really making it's presence known. In any case it's a nice pilsner.

Pretty good stuff. All I have to compare it to is a distant memory of the oaked pilsner I had at the Pilsner Urquel Brewery. This has a pretty decent off-white frothy head but a dirty dishwater amber color. Good grainy mildly hoppy aroma with a refreshing bittersweet taste. I can just barely pick up the oak qualities. Great body and excellent carbonation. Satisfying beer.

Can from Craft and Carry UWS: pours gold with white head. Aroma is bready, woody. Taste is sort of sweet, lightly malty, low bitterness. Solid.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear, bright gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is bready with a wood note. Near med body. Flavor is bready with grass/spice and a touch of lightly astringent wood. Dry. Properly bitter. Excellent flavor.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a cle at straw gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of grass and earthy straw with just a bit of hay and oak backing. Flavor starts with oak and earthy straw with growing grass and hay notes.
