Slightly unclear medium amber colour, tall creamy off-white to beige head, good retention, heavy lacing. Aroma roasted malts, caramel, nutty notes, hint of red fruit, hop resin. Taste medium sweet and bitter, roasted malts, caramel, fruity undertone, quite bready, husky. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, husky, earthy and spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, nice down-to-earth amber ale.

Bottle. Color: Copper, very light brown head. Taste: Light roasted malts, caramel, medium sweet with bittery notes, spicy. Finish is tending more to the bittery side, with sharp bittery mouthfeel. Above medium body, medium carbonation.

Tap (Sporvejen, Copenhagen). Piwo klarowne o miedzianej barwie z dobną, średnio obfitą pianą koloru ecru, niezbyt trwałą i tylko delikatnie oblepiającą ścianki szkła. Aromat delikatny, słodowy z nutami karmelowymi i opiekanymi, brak nut chmielowych.

400ml bottle into shaker. Smells of malt and phenol out of the bottle, less so out of the glass. Deep copper/caramel sauce colour. A few bubbles make an appearance. Thin head. Watery mouthfeel, crisp malt finish. Slight touch of hop bitterness and liquorice late on. Nice enough and very easy drinking.
