As we grow older we find that even though our tastes change, we still long for some of the flavors from our youth. So we made a beer to bridge the gap in our lives. This beer has all the comfort and decadence of gingersnap cookies with enough warmth to get you through the holiday family reunions. Cheers to us all!

12oz can. Unique enough pastry stout. Really gets the Christmas cookie tone right, some chocolate syrup on top of it. Bold ginger and flavoring, but smoothed out by the sweet, syrupy chocolate tone. Good enough for what it is, a fun Christmas beer.

Keg at the Old Fashioned during the March 2023 Prohibition Speakeasy Road Trip, 3/10/23. Black, large tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, ginger, caramel, hint of soy. Taste is roast, ginger, stone fruit. Nice.

Like with all of this beer the qualities are a little out of balance. In the aromas ginger stands out along with dark malt and a little molasses. Flavors are like nose, with some carbonation and bitterness dominating sweet. It's an interesting idea that they couldn't quite pull off.
