The aromas are leather, tobacco, dark malt and a hint of cinnamon. Flavors are balanced and nicely under played for very smooth drinking, especially with this nitro style.

Lots of cinnamon--probably too much. Some toast and a little chocot. Black pour with mocha head. Bittersweet finish with lingering cinnamon. Can.

On tap at Homestead smooth chocolatey roast aromas and flavors. Just a touch or peppermint. Nice that this is not overdone. Smooth, a bit sweet and delicious.

12oz can from Hops & Bottles. Black pour with creamy tan head. Aroma is cinnamon, milk chocolate, cocoa. Taste is milk, chocolate and cinnamon, reminiscent of a nice hot cup of cocoa. Smooth, savory and finishes dry.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark brn/blk with a moderate creamy tan head. Aroma of cinnamon and chocolate. Approaching full bodied - just a tad short. Flavor is smooth cinnamon, vanilla and chocolate. Nitro indeed. Not a trace of carbonation prickle. Not dry, but not excessively sweet. Not bitter, except for what cinnamon provides. But it is extremely good tasting!

Can/Fest. A- Chocolate, weak. A- Black color, dark liquid, brown head. T- Cinnamon, caramel, burnt sugars, cream. P- Medium body, creamy texture, flat carbonation, balanced finish. O- The nitro works quite well here however, it severely dampens the nose. The flavor is great, much like a Mexican inspired dessert cake. Good stuff.

Enjoyed on nitro at Thirsty Hop, Kirkland. Dark brown, almost black appearance, with a thick, cream foam head. No shortage of cinnamon here. Aroma full of chirstmas spices. Cocoa and some coffee. Long lingering chocolate and cinnamon linger. Definitely dessert beer territory, but not too sweet. Fun brew here.
