2024 bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a glowing orange gold with a finger of fluffy white foam that dissipates. Clove, ginger and cinnamon notes on the nose with Belgian yeast character and candi sugar as it warms. Palate is very similar with some gingerbread notes and more candi sugar and spiced cake that lingers. A great Belgian-style strong ale with a winter warmer American twist.

On tap at Village Bottle Shop & Tasting Room, pours a clear golden amber with a medium white head. Aroma is full of Belgian yeast, Xmas spices, and toasted malt. Flavour is rather sweet and spicy, with a strange melange of spices—especially cinnamon and other Xmas spices—along with estery sugars and toasted biscuity malt. What a strange one—seems too sweet for me, but it's well-put-together.

12 ounce bottle. Bright amber orange color.q brief beige head. Aroma of cinnamon, cloves, ginger and orange peel. Flavor is tangy and sweet. Lots of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, toasted malt, orange peel and a hint of warming alcohol. Sticky mouthfeel. Tasty.
