Pint can from Festival Northland, 8.29.21. Clear dark red-brown, large fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of strong coffee, vanilla. Taste is roast, vegetal, vanilla, coffee, coffee grounds. A bit thin. Decent.

Pours near black with a small tan head the aroma is of roast malt, coffee, and vanilla. The flavor is sweet with roast malt, coffee, vanilla, and chocolate. The vanilla is stronger before it warms. Then the roasty coffee flavor becomes more prominent. Very good.

The aromas are lots of fresh black coffee with some dark malt and a little vanilla or cocoa. Flavors are very similar to nose, on the sweet side but definitely not overdone, good carbonation and okay body. Decent finish, nice beer.
