This winter ale is inspired by the festive taste of eggnog and is brewed with milk sugar and enough nutmeg to fill Santa’s sleigh! Post-fermentation, the beer is aged in bourbon barrels for over 3 months for an added kick of bourbon, vanilla and oak.

16oz can c/o Ben T . Filtered looking amber body with a weird chunky club of coagulate. The flavor is rather awesome for a Winter Warmer, really getting some eggnog tone while maintaining the Winter Warmer feel as well. Sweet vanilla oak, mild barrel tone. Chai tone starts to show through them. A lot going on, but well executed, other than the nasty phlegm like thing in it of course.

Not bad for a holiday beer. Pretty heavy on the spices, wish it was a little lighter on the spices and little heavier on the malts but anyway. Could be fun to cook with.

Spice extravaganza, nutmeg cinnamon and chai all very prominent
