The aromas are malt and banana. Flavors are malt a little sweet up front with some tart and a touch of bitter with a slight metallic finish. Decent body. Serviceable beer.

Keg at Anodyne Coffee House, 8/24/16. Clear reddish copper, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toasted caramel malt and stone fruit. The taste is caramel malt, jammy strawberries. Thin-medium bodied, simple but drinkable and pleasant.

Hazy Brown, Huge Soapy Foam Head that Lasts and Leaves Lots Of Thick Lacing. Not Sure why but half of bottle gushes out once you pop a cap open. Has tiny Little Floaters. Faint Malt and Earthy Aroma. Taste About The same: Slightly Sweet Malt, A Little Earthy. Not Too Special Easy Drinker. No Dates, So No Way to Tell How Much Past Its Prime. Wish I Knew Of This Place While I Lived In Milwaukee. Passed it Many Times Without Knowing It is There. Gonna Have to Stop For A Tour Next Time I’m In Town. OK Session Beer.

12 oz. Bottle - Pours a medium copper color with a creamy light head. Flavor is on the sweet malty side with a hint of caramel. Not bad, but nothing special.

Draft at OF. Amber-brown color, thick off white head. Slight to full on Amber malt pungency. Spicy malt aftertaste with a touch of cream. Full of flavor. Medium to full bodied. Rather well done, pretty solid balance between the rich malt and soapy hop crispness. A quality beer, worth a try.

Lots of grain in the aroma and flavor. Mildly bitter, but less so from hops than from dry malt, and there are almost no hops in this beer. Full palate for the style, with a light nut flavor. One of the best amber ales to be found anywhere, but like brown ale, there is only so much that can be done with this rather boring style.

Pours clear copper-red with a thin off-white head. Cerealy aroma with brown sugar and dark fruit. Flavor is light, sweet, and bready with earthy hops in the finish. Some metallic/grassy notes are detected as well. Pleasant with fruity touches around the edges, this is a decent beer but could improve with a fuller body. Jason (JCapriotti) sent me the bottle.
