Pour is more of a cloudy amber with a large white head. Aroma is grapefruit and piney hops. Flavor is more pine and resin, grapefruit hops. This may call this a hazy IPA but this is an old scholl west coast IPA all the way. It's a decent beer but mislabeled.

Ever so slightly hazy golden and peach coloured body with a thinnish, single to two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of lemons, grapefruit, oranges and a touch of pine with a lot of malts here that provide a nice layer and some sweetness in the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong citrus flavours come through with a lot of malts for support and a dry crisp bite with a tiny bit of hoppy notes and bitterness from the alpha acids with a small sweetness from the fruits and caster sugar here. Aftertaste shows some herbal notes, but the crisp citrus and orange flavours come through with a good balance and easy-drinking profile. Overall, a nice and fairly standard newer school IPA that's slightly unfiltered, but the label (and location of the brewery) made me try this one and while not bad, not something that everyone should rush out and try, assuming they can find it pretty easily. I sampled this twelve ounce, stubby bottle purchased from Hy-Vee [grocery] in Madison, Wisconsin on 08-August-2021 for US$1,99 sampled on Thanksgiving Day on 25-November-2021, with my family.

The aromas are caramel malt and resin hops. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose but with a heavy metallic quality. Fairly dry, strong carbonation and a lingering bitterness.

12oz bottle. What looks to be a filtered orange-tan body. Thin, fading, white head. Pretty much tastes like a classic late 90s to mid 2000s IPA. Between the horrifically cheesy label and the desperate, missed grab at the NE, it is hard to take Karben4 that seriously as a craft brewery at this point. Tastes like rindy C hops. Maybe there is a touch of some new school, but buried in the resin, bitterness. Not a bad IPA, but a shabby NE IPA.

12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Appleton, 4/29/19. Very hazy amber, medium creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of caramel, floral and leafy hops, some fruit kinda straddling citrus and tropical. Taste is orange juice, hints of papaya, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy.
