Brewmaster Matt Brynildson and his team recently fell in love with the Cashmere hop from the Pacific Northwest, inspiring them to create this single-hop extra pale ale. The result is a bright, hop-forward beer loaded with Cashmere’s lush flavors of Palisade peach and tropical fruit.

Canned. Yellow orange pour. Juicy hops verging unto tropixality. Very enjoyable.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Bert's Better Beers. Appearance is crystal clear golden yellow with light sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with fair retention and mild, soapy lacing. Aroma is moderate citrus, stone fruit and melon with bready malt background and hint of burnt matchstick. Taste is a reflection of the aroma though citrus is higher in the mix and not quite as complex. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and dry, crisp finish as taste. Overall, not bad for a one-hop offering with fair complexity and decent balance.

Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aroma of thick and resinous hops. Taste has unique hop elements, a really weird resin element. Palate has oaken resin elements, slight herbal notes. Interesting.

The Aromas are mainly resin hops, with a little bit of citrus caramel malt and wet grain. Flavors are somewhat like nose, mildly bittersweet with a little medicinal in the Finish. Okay body and carbonation. It seems like Firestone Walker is losing their Edge.

12 oz can from a variety pack from the supermarket. Aroma is a pineapple and citrus explosion. Pours lightly hazy sunshine golden with a one finger bone-white head with decent retention. Taste is lightly bitter, very dry, with a shit-ton of citrusy tropical hop flavor. Prickly carbonation. Amazing beer that puts any of their Luponic beers or their other IPAs and pale ales to shame. I hope this isn't just a one-off.
