This champagne-inspired lager, with notes of honey and white wine, is finished with champagne yeast for a dry, effervescent finish.

This is not at all what I anticipated from the commercial description. The Aromas are malt with a little fruit and perhaps a hint of tart. Flavors are very similar to nose, sweet up front with good carbonation to balance, low bitterness and that hint of tart in the back. OK beer but nothing special.

Tallboy can from Wine Cellar, dePere. Hazy orange-pink, large fizzy white head, good retention. Aroma of pale malt with currant and grapefruit nicely balanced. Taste is pale bready malt, sweet currant, grapefruit pith. Medium bodied, dry, moderate carbonation, low bitterness. Needs... something.

On tap at Surly, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out champagne yeast, light cereal notes and a touch of caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with champagne yeast and biscuity malt. Clean and easy-drinking, but not particularly interesting.

Sampled from the tap at the 2017 Minnesota Winterfest. Pours a clear rosy pink with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has notes of sweet flora, sweet light grains and a bit of dark fruits underlying. Flavor is a bit thin with some sweet grains, sweet light flora and a bit of black currant.

The menu at Durly says this is 10.3 abv. Sweet aroma with pear and sugar. It is well carbonated and I like that. This is far too sweet. I understand they were trying to ger the abv up but the end result is a very sweet, sugary lager. Not good. Nice orange color.
