Bottle, bought at the brewery. Dark brown color. Malt and brown sugar in the aroma. malty sweet flavor with caramel and a hint of milk chocolate. Medium bodied. Somewhat sticky mouthfeel, but fairly well balanced and with enough complexity to be pleasurable.

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki (old backlog). Ambery brown colour, small off-white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, mild toasted notes as well as some slight ripe fruityness as well as raisins. Flavour is being rather similar with also some slight herbal and bitter notes towards the finish. A bit watery, but otherwise a nice brew.

Bottle looks a bit tawdry, but okay. Beer in the glass very dark, almost black, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest fruity-berry. Finish still mild, well balanced. Could be more intense, but still okay.

(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Sweet roast-malty and nutty nose with caramel and wet leafs. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, calm carbonation. Distinctively earthy and leafy roast-malty and nutty taste with lighter notes of caramel and a shy herbal touch; quite dry, still earthy and moderately roasty finish with a light herbal hops character. A bit uncommon, all in all not bad (14.X.08).
