16 ounce can. Hazy orange gold color. Rocky white head. Fragrant citrus hop nose. Malty undertones. Notes of orange and baked bread. Tangy malt/hop flavor upfront. Notes of bittersweet citrus, think orange peel and pink grapefruit. Their is an underlying maltiness that keeps the citrus hops in balance. Slightly sweet, slightly bitter. Eminently drinkable.

Draught @ Albion (1/17/20). Extremely hazy dark yellow, like apricot juice, very small frothy off-white head, light unripe mango-orange aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel-dusty taste, somewhat thick body, long medium bitter finish. The taste is a bit strange, like dusty.

At SBWF 2019. Hazy golden/yellow with a white head. A bit sweet grapefruit, hops, malt and pine. Some sour notes from the fruit. The finish was quite bitter.

Can/Fest. A- Floral, hoppy, soapy, fruity. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Bitter, pine, soap. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- With the name of Zen Garden, I wanted it to have some green tea extract or something. Obviously not in there but a thought for Clown Shoes since they like unique stuff. Really just another IPA. Wouldn't call it NE style though.

Not as sweet as the last. Good flavour, but a tad watery.

The Aromas are cooking vegetables with a little herbs, pale malt and weed. Flavors are bittersweet with medicinal and a little hops. Carbonation is good body is okay with the medicinal finish. One and done.

Mixed rating from taster pour from can at Craft Brew Race, Worcester and pint on tap at The Oven, Epping. Appearance is cloudy, dark yellow/orange/light brown (juicy) with no discernible sparkle, thin ring of off-white head and light lacing. Aroma is fruit--orange, some tropical, pineapple, but quite malty--strong caramel. Taste is strong initial juicy as aroma, then bready malt with danky, musty, bitter balance. Palate is light-to-medium bodied, kind of thin texture, soft carbonation (at Brew Race, lively stinging at restaurant) and dry, mix of cracker and bitter finish. Overall, it's strong and NEIPA in many ways, but malt contribution is more APA and bitterness is more west coast IPA. but, even forgiving the style miss, it's not that enjoyable. The pint was way better than the taster pour but still find that, other than stouts, I can't remember the last non-stout I've had from this brewer that's been really good and fear its better days are behind it.

Pour is a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is some sweet orange juice and grapefruit. Flavor is again kind of a orange juice and grapefruit combo with little to no bitterness on the back end. As far as hazy's go this was just o.k. Some fruit was there but nothing really stood out to wow you.
