On draft at the brewery during the 2019 Assassin release, 19-A and 18-B releases. Pours black with a scant tan head. Aromas of raisins, molasses and dark fudge. Flavors are sweet fudge and bitter dark chocolate. Delicious.

On tap at Toppling Goliath, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out tons of vanilla, medium roast, light coffee and tons of barrel. Flavour is unbelievably intense, with ultra-rich bourbon barrels dominating, followed by vanilla, coffee and a touch of roast. Unreal - so rich and decadent without being brutal. Phenomenal stuff.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2018. Pours pitch black with a very dark brown head that lasts throughout the beer and cascades. Aroma has dark grains, lots bourbon and coffee with a strong roasted malt note supporting. Flavor is intense with sweet dark grains, vanilla, bourbon, dark grains and roasted malts backing.

Friends Laura and Karen got this for me, thanks guys! Aromaz are heavy mocha roast burnt sugar and in the background mint. For the flavors the mint comes out stronger and clashes with the bitterness. Still much more sweet than bitter. Didn't get the designators for this mint version. This was at yesterday's MD release event at the brewery.

Tap, 4-B. Pours inky black, medium creamy dark brown head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is bourbon, cocoa, vanilla, coconut, roasted malt, molasses. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, thick and rich. Full body, creamy mouthfeel, some abv heat. Good beer.
