Bottle. Blonde, hazy. Hints of yeast and poire williams in the aroma. Alcoholic flavor, slightly yeasty with apple and poire williams notes. Fairly well made Duvel clone.

Dumpy 33cl brown bottle, produced for the supermarket chain ’Delhaze’. The best before date was 15 July 2010, it was reviewed and poured into a Duvel glass on 7 Dec 2010, so a little out of date. A Christmas beer (the label and name gives it away somewhat!), lets hope it’s Angelic. I was doing well with the pouring, then a large amount of sediment gushed out of the bottle to contaminate the glass, this obviously tainted and dulled the body of the beer. The glass now contained a murky, cloudy bland orange coloured liquid with lumps floating about trying to sink down the beer. A scummy head sat on top. True Belgian yeasty, beery smell, a blind tasting/smelling would have told anyone straight away a Belgian beer was in their hand. Duvel like in flavour, slightly sweeter and a little stronger in the taste stakes (maybe because of the sediment in my glass?). The alcohol is noticeable, but not overpowering, blends in well with the zesty feel the beer has. Considering this is a supermarket beer, it’s good stuff, can’t remember what I paid fot it, but it wouldn’t have been expensive, I’ll look out for it again when next in a ’Delhaze’. What a pity the sediment got out!

Bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass very zippy, small head. Starts strong and metallically, more and more sourish. Hoppy-dry background. Finish unbalanced, too sourish. Not my favourite!

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium yellow color with medium sized body particles, a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate to light heavy yeasty, leather, soap, spicy, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, light alcoholic. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20091113]

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yelloe with a huge white head. Aroma is mild phenolic and slight spiced. Sweet caramelish flavoured with a nice fruity yeasty note. Sweet fruity flavoured into a medium dry phenolic finish.

bottle, pours gold with a white head. Aroma is light malt and candy sugar. Light tripel flavor, some lemon, alcohol and light malts. Not bad for supermarket beer.

33cl bottle. Pours pale slight unclear yellow with a white foam and lacings. Nose and taste is straw, yeast and hops. Lively carbonation. A tad too overcarbonated. Warmth from alcohol. Very average, some might say boring. Ok.

Bottled. Yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is yeasty, fruity and slightly metallic. Also some alcohol. Flavour is yeast, toffee, fruits and some alcohol. Not very exciting, but still drinkable and quite clean.

Golden amber color with thick creamy white head. Sweet grassy hop smell. Rich sweet malt flavor.
