Císař mu udělil titul frýdlantského vévody a pověřil ho i vrchním velením svého vojska. Albrecht z Valdštejna se vysoce zasadil o rozvoj východočeského regionu. 50 cL bottle. Pours clear ad golden orange with a slowly collapsing off-white head. Mild citrusy hoppy aroma. Mild smoked touch with a mild sweet malty touch and light bitterness coming through. Light sweet lingering finish. Mild bitterness too.

(Bottle at Pivovarsky Klub, Prague, 23 July 2008) Amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, buttery nose with toffee, dried fruit and floral hops. Malty, spicy taste with notes of dried fruit, apricots and floral hops in a slightly bittersweet finish. Medium to full body, rather sweet. I must admit, I find it quite nice actually.

Bottle sampled at Finn’s. Amber body under a fragile layer. Dry hopped aroma. Complex flavour of hops, dried fruits and some smokey notes towards the ending. Well bodied. A rather pleasant surprise (21.11.2007).

Very consistent medium-sized head. Malty aroma. Sweet in the beginning, getting hoppier towards the finish. The aftertaste is rather sweet and malty again.

Bottle label brauczeck bock. Interesting slightly skunky aroma. Pours light brown lemony orange in my poor steeler stein, almost like a clear lager. Has initial hit and personality. Yes, bocklike in flavor. Pretty strong malty alcoholic taste - but not as strong as St. Nick by Penn. Has a slight linger on the finish. This is probably one of the better hellers I’ve tasted.

Golden coloured with a weak head. Fruity aroma with notes of alcohol. Brief caramel flavour.Nice bitterness with notes of smoke. Unfortunately there’s some plastic flavours that ruins the whole thing a bit.

Bottle (from Pivni Galerie Praha-Holesovice): Golden colour;fluffy off-white head; shy floral hoppy nose; initial smooth maltiness with a tinge of honey; medium bodied, quite fizzy; only short-lasting bitter-sweet finish with some herbal notes; lacks a bit a more distictive hoppiness; all in all fair and well quaffable...........

(Bottle 200 cl) Comes as "Slawjanskoje Bockbier" at 7,0% ABV. Amber-coloured, full-bodied beer with some weak caramel-notes and a rather pronounced bitterness. Decent head. Very solid if not exactly refined. 080205
