Bottle. Dark brown color. Pear and licorice in the aroma. Malty flavor with pear and just a hint of caramel. Sweetish, easy going beer.

* Old rating. 0,33l, best before 01.2007. Malzig-trockener Antrunk. Erstaunlich deutlich zeichnen sich trockene Röstmalzaromen ab, eine muffige Herbe im Hintergrund passt sich ein. Der Nachgeschmack ist angenehm trocken-malzig, nette Röstmalzaromen mit moderater Herbe.

Brown colour, thin beige foam. It has an aroma of roasted coffee, mineral and dark chocolate.

Das Bier startet weich malzig. Dies kann sich aber nicht ausbreiten, da die Herbe hier schnell dazwischenfunkt. Herb-trocken mit eher geringem Malzanteil ist so der Mittelteil, wobei die Malzigkeit für ein „dunkles Lager“ doch in Ordnung ist. Die Süffigkeit wird von der Trockenheit eingeschränkt, was angesichtes des vorher vorhandenen Levels schade ist. Intensiver ist der würzigere und deutlich herbe, leider stärker trockene Abgang. Bottled (BB 05/2009). Dark brown color, small off-white head. Cardboardish, toasted malty, slightly grassy aroma. Grassy, woody flavor, some caramel too. Slightly harsh. Standard, but liveless dunkel (bottle was not so fresh).

Bottled. Deep amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is alcohol, dark fruits, some cardboard as well as bread. Flavour is bready, toffeeish, mildly roasted malts as well as some wooden notes.

Bottle 33cl. @ [ Fastelavns Tasting Ulfborg ].Clear light to medium amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white grey head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, bread, roasted and caramel notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090221]

Bottle, 5.2%. Clear brown colour. Very small light brown head. The flavour is mildly roasted, quite subtle. Low bitterness. Hint of caramel.

(33cl bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a reddish shine and a small foamy tanned head. Sweet and slightly toasted malt aroma with marzipan and a subtle fruity touch. Light-sweet flavour, quite slim bodied with a light carbonated mouthfeel. Light roasty malty base with a faint touch of caramel; sweet and slightly bitter finish with a touch of nothingness. Bland and boring brew.
