We wanted to make a typical traditional best bitter – golden brown in colour and only lightly hopped with Fuggles and Goldings making a classic session ale.

Creamy off white head on a copper coloured body.
Medium to thin bodied, soft on the tongue with a clean back.
Caramel, chocolate, toffee & malt tastes with a limp finish.
Nice enough - served too cold

Cask pint @ Brown Horse Inn, Winster, taken to our pod situated directly behind the pub. Clear copper brown, good white head. Pleasant enough toasted caramel malt character, gentle bitterness. Went well with BBQed cumberland sausage.
