The Tropical Treasure is out of control, covering The Realm in tropical fruit flavor! Their problem is your gain as this Hazy IPA is absolutely bombarded with the aromas of pineapple, tangerine and lemon for moderate sweetness and a touch of lingering bitterness to accentuate the delightful haze provided by the beer’s massively malty bill. Unearth the power of 4 Giants Tropical Treasure today!

Pours hazy yellow orange. The hoppy aroma is full of tropical fruit. The flavor is mildly bitter. It’s malty and juicy with some hop resin and a whole lot of tropical fruit including pineapple, mango, and orange. It’s well balanced though, avoiding too much sweetness or a boozy, cough syrupy flavor that afflicts some hazy brews. Very tasty.

16oz can. Finally got around to drinking this all around unappealing IPA-thing. Not a Triple IPA as I feared, the can says 7.5%. Still sweet and cheap tasting. Extract fruit doesn't really help much, perhaps trying to smooth out awkward edges. Who would've thought Founders would be pushing out such crap 15 years ago. I'd never buy this again.

Pineapple, tangerine, biscuit malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with minimal head. Moderately sweet pineapple, tangerine, biscuit malt, mild sour citric acid, and moderately bitter tangerine peel flavor. Good body. Odd flavor.

Pint can from The Beer Trappe, 4/23/23. Hazy dark orange, large beige head, average retention. Aroma of mango, green, floral. Taste is mango, pineapple, melon, green, herbal. Slick, syrupy. A little weird. Lingering bitterness.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of white foam. Bright pineapple and citrus aromas on the nose with some candied fruit aromas. Quite sweet on the palate....borderline cloying...pineapple, orange and mango. Sweet finish with pineapple candy and orange.
