If our Premium Lager is the beer of real experts and specialists, then our Pale Beer is the right beer for everybody. The long tradition of the production of České Budějovice beer and carefully selected high quality natural ingredients are a guarantee for the highest quality without doubt. The Pale Beer is ideal for those occasions when it is evident in advance that you will not finish with just one beer.

Can. A dark golden beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of straw, and so is the flavor. The body is light. OK for a light beer - but I rather have a stronger Budvar.

Can, 4%. Caramelly malt flavour, not sweet. Clear golden colour. Not thin, but fades a bit way in the finish, when the bitterness kicks in, though.

(Draught at U Medvidku Budweiser Bar, Prague, 20 July 2008) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, grassy nose with sweetish notes of tropical fruit. Malty, grassy taste with toffee and a hint of vanilla. Well balanced and nice but on the thin side.

Bottled (BB 11/2008)
Bottle from Albert, Ceske Budejovice. Golden color, small white head, some lace. Buttery, Saaz-hoppy nose. A bit fizzy. Buttery malty, Saaz-hoppy flavor. Plesant hoppy aftertaste. Good tiny touch of diacetyl. This is better than 12P version.

The bottle looks good, like all Budweiser-bottles. The beer in the glass also. Fine aroma, fine foam. The beer starts modest malty, not bad. But it’s getting worse. The finish is much too sourish - I don’t like it.

Bottle: Golden coloured, thin, quickly diminishing white head; stronger grassy to herbal hoppiness in the nose with traces of sweet pale malt; robust, quite dry bitter flavour, light malty body; short dry, herbal bitter finish. A spicy and aromatic Desitka !
