This campfire themed porter brings warming vanilla, s'mores and chocolate on the nose with deep, bitter chocolate, marshmallows and smoke in the flavour. A beer which will blaze in your glass and take your mind on a journey to the campsite, reminiscing and having fun with friends.

On tap at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is chocolate cake, vanilla, cocoa, creamy coffee. Taste is creamy coffee, nuts, dark chocolate, light smoke, prunes. Long alcohol burn. Sweet malts & dark fruits in the close.

Nose is marshmallow, nougat, licorice, blackcurrant. Taste is smoke leading to marshmallow, cream, vanilla, licorice tang. It's OK, the marshmallow is too cloying for me and it all feels a bit disjointed.

Keg at fierce Edinburgh. Pours black, nose is caramel, honey, liquorice, marshmallow, smoked malts, taste is huge smoke up front, sweet toffee, cream, chocolate, dry finish.
