Dunkelbraune Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger Geruch mit etwas Karamell. Geschmacklich malzig, schwach röstmalzig, etwas Karamell. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Bottled, Gasthaus zur Post in St Jakob i.H., Austria. Totally different beer as the Augusinus from this brewery, that is also listed as a dunkel. Deep dark brown color. Aluminiumaroma. Malty, roasted flavor with aluminium in the aftertaste. Some caramel, but the roast prevails. Fairly dry. Not bad.

On tap at the brewpub. A clear dark brown beer with a small beige head. Aroma of mild grainy malt, hints of liqourice. Taste of soft liqourice, dark malt, hints of chocolate.

0,5 l bottle from Kristall-König. Big thank you! Dark red brown, nearly black in the glass. One finger beige head. Little bit sweet malty on the nose. Taste starts malty, low roasted, low ripe fruity in the background. Pleasant malty aftertaste with spicy grain. Nice one!
