Det här ölet bryggdes år 2021 och har i lugn och ro fått mogna på ståltank till ett i vårt tycke perfekt Barley Wine. som slutfinish har vi valt att lagra det på Armagnacfat. Ölet med maltig kropp, toner av torkad frukt och dadlar, ackompanjeras nu av harmoniserande smaker av mörk frukt och mandel. Allt med en varm och torrare avslutning.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Deep amber colour, not much head. Aroma is floral, alcohol and some mild toffee with some dates and raisins. Flavour is toffee, some wood, alcohol and some Armagnac. Sweet, but in a nice balance.

Flaska från SB, bryggd 2021. Klar rubinröd/rostfärgad med beige krona. Maltig botten som drar lite lätt åt russin och rostat socker. Mycket fat, trä, kryddigt, mycket smak och viss hetta från Armagnacen. Gott och snyggt.

--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Clear copper colour, small head. Caramelly nose with cognac and hay. Mid sweet with full body and dense, well rounded mouthfeel. Deep bready caramelly malt. Brandyish wood. Lovely malt depth. Interesting woody Armagnac wood.

250ml shared at Erik's place in Malmo. Appearance: clear copper with almost no head. Aroma: nice barrel notes, some dark fruits. Taste: along the same lines, a bit too woody aftertaste. Overall: pleasant enough.

Poured from 250mL bottle (bb 21 Feb 2028). Clear copper with minimal white head. Caramel malt, armagnac, dried fruit, gentle oak. Prefer the Straight Oak variant more.

Klar bärnstensröd färg. Inte mycket till skum. Doft av sirap och cognac. Smakar russin, farin, cognac och ekfat. Alkoholen värmer på slutet.
