Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear orange gold with a full two fingers of off-white head that lingers. Grapefruit zest, pine and light caramel aromas on the nose. Similar notes on the palate. More grapefruit and lingering pine and light toasted malt on the finish. Solid.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
This was a gusher, rare in an IPA. Beautiful golden, light amber colour, clean. Delicate malt aroma, not much to say about hops. Rich malt flavour, bready, full bodied, with light sweetness; the hopping is balanced, less strong than the West Coast benchmark, not enough hop quality either, not enough hop brightness.
But overall it's good.

Pint can. Golden orange color with a big beige head. Aroma is pungent with pine, tropical fruits, and malty sweet. Has a sweet, hoppy flavor with a light pine and floral end. Gets a little malty and the signature yeast is noticeable in the finish. Moderately bitter and refreshing.
