Gyllengul med lätt dis. Medelstort skum.

Pint can, 5/19/23. Forgot where I got this. Got a four pack, but can't remember where. last beer of the night. If I'm still going it's gonna be a MASSIVE OLD FASHIONED! Or something in that ballpark. Gold, slight haze. Large tan head (kinda vigorous pour), average retention. Aroma of bready malt, stone fruit, pear. Taste is stone fruit, honey, white grape, bready malt. No booze, well balanced. Nice.

16 ounce can. Bright, yellow gold color. Large, frothy white head. Slightly tangy, rustic bread aroma. Tart, bittersweet flavor upfront. Notes of apple, pear, honey, yeast and orange zest. Fruity and flavorful. Quite a nice representation of the style. Yum.

Decent beer. I pick up a touch of honey in both aromas and flavors but not peat. Nice balance between bitter and sweet with carbonation slightly dominating. Reminds me a bit of Spotted Cow.

Public House draught, 4/9/23. Light haze, deep bronze-brass. Small, white head sits at spotty cover. Soft malts with light smartees and peachy fruit esters. Sugariness burns off as it breathes. Still getting apple, musty cellar and a touch of wax. Kind of smells like the lower quality French BdGs. Good and malty though with orange peel, apple, white bread and honey-like malt. Nice, musty cellar character, no crude phenols and certainly very authentic. Never been my favorite style on account of the yeast signature but this is well-done. Malty and well-attenuated. Clean and not boozey.

A style I haven’t had in ages but no idea when I bought just saw new Allagash and away we go. Gold pour rich coloration and a finger of foam. Nose is honey and farmhouse. Tastes of quite rich honey almost mead like, some grass and hay and barn wood, touch of the mentioned pear and plum and floral. Some booze. Quite nice
