Can from Beerdome. Aroma is dark malt, cocoa, roast, chocolate, whiskey, smoke, ash, touch of caramel. Flavour is medium sweet with a mild bitterness. Medium to full body. Sweet, strong, roasty, ashy.

Intensiver, weich malziger Beginn, deutliche Süße, angenehme Röstnoten. Geringe Karbonisierung, würzig, viel Kakao, spritzig. Der Alkohol ist überraschend wenig präsent, das Bier fast schon süffig. Weiter Kakao, Schokolade, sehr cremig. Noten von Whiskey, minimale Bitternoten, langer malziger Abgang - super! 9/13/11/14/11/13

440ml can. Jet black colour with slightly late awakening, small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, brown head. BA supported, roasty, chocolately, dark and caramel malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, dark caramel, leather, peat. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, slightly roasty, chocolately, dark malty, notes of dark caramel, dark chocolate, cocoa, couverture, BA notes of leather, peat, damp wood, a touch of cinnamon, praline, TCP; well hidden alcohol. Viscous texture, smooth, soft and silky, slightly cloying palate, fine, soft carbonation. Balanced and harmonious, well matching BA support - luscious.

Can. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Sweetish, roasted malt, dark chocolate, smoked fish. Taste: Roasted malt, starting sweetish, some dark dried fruit, after a short moment notes of salty smoked fish coming in. Earthy. Ash. Some dark chocolate and coffee in the background. Boozy. Medium sweet, moderate to over moderate hopbitterness. Full body, below average carbonation. Nice one.
