sprøng is a blend of mature wild ales, aged in oak puncheons (400 and 500L) for around 1,5 up to 3 years, and a barrel fermented and aged saison type of beer, which was dryhopped for a few months with Saaz hops. We’ve added Sicilian sage and also wormwood (artemisia absinthium and another secret variety) to the final blend to macerate a week before bottling. It’s a subtle addition we made compared to sprong, to add a slightly earthiness and spice to it.

Had at Snallygaster. Poured a bright yellow-orange color with a small white head. Aroma big floral notes. Flower, thistle, herbal. Oak. Nice tartness.

Snallygaster 2023. Pours orange. Floral, tangerine, peach, very herbal, nice tartness. Medium body. Very nice.

Snallygastetr: gold white head. Aroma is floral, funky. Effervescent, bright and funky. nice herbals notes of sage and the like. Interesting flavor profile.

Taster during MBCC 2023 Friday afternoon session shared with Ryan, Matt, Phill, and Erik. Nice farmhouse notes and dry-hopping combo, maybe a bit soapy. Finishes with a light bitterness. Dry.

Drucken från flaska på MBCC 2023. Grumlig gyllengul färg med ett tunt benvitt huvud. Doft av nejlika, malört vin, jäst och lite ek. Smaken är måttligt syrlig, med en krispig, lätt, jordig, vinös, torr ek, syrlig, lätt kropp och pigg fin syra, Riktigt fin doft och smaken inte långt efter om än inte lika unik.

Bottle pour at MBCC 2023, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out spicy hops, woody branches, and oak. Flavour is twiggy, with lots of soil, funk, oak, and stone fruit acidity. Oaky, funky, and hoppy.

0,75l bottle at home. Bottled 10.10.2022. BB 10.10.2032. amber murky color, medium big white head. smells of sage, flowery, herbal, some honey, love the smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes herbal, sage, lemon balm, rosemary, light thyme, resiny. finishes lightly dry and light to medium herbal bitter with notes of sage, lemon balm and resiny notes. Love this one. I am a big fan of the original Sprong, this is everything that the first one was and takes it up a notch. Extreme and intense, not as mellow as the original one, but I just love it. Great beer again!

Lovely smell. full body soft carbonation. tastes pine, herbal, sage, wood, peppery, bit leathery. finishes dry and light to medium sour with notes of sage, wood and herbs. Lovely, it's great
