Bottle. Clear amber. Caramel, raisins, figs, light yoghurt, brown sugar, sweet sherry. Medium sweet and lighter bitter. Medium bodied. Lots of figs and sherry, interesting beer!

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 15A, adapted). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L303 (BBF 29.12.19). AROMA: medium cereal husk aroma with a low caramel malt background. slight metallic note. APPEARANCE: light amber colour and clear. medium moussy off-white head, with medium retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium cereal husk, faint oxidized hops (isovaleric) and a low malty background with a caramel character. high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. unbalanced. PALATE: medium-light body with medium-low carbonation. astringency present. OVERALL: an amber ale wih formulation and execution problems.
