A medium bodied Pilsner, GOLDEN in colour (... literally). The palate is rich and malty with crisp, hoppy notes complemented by a fruity aroma. Our handcrafted 'pils' results in a creamy head atop a smooth brew... oh so refreshing!

Bottle at restaurant. Hazy golden. Sweet malts, bready, doughy even. Weedy and floral hops, lots of wet German hoppy notes. Medium sweet, lighter bitter. Medium bodied, not crisp, more doughy. Could be more crisp for a pils, but not bad.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 5D). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L203 (BBF 29.01.20). AROMA: medium clean malty aroma (honey-like). low underatenuation-like note. APPEARANCE: gold colour and clear. medium white head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: initial medium malty flavour with a honey-like character. high bitterness. finishes dry and very bitter. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: a nice pils base that needs some tweaking and more hop presence (aroma/flavour).
