A few years back, we at Dugges started a project called Spotlight. The project was a beer called Spotlight, with some of its proceeds going into a scholarship presented to someone illuminating the Gothenburg culture sector.

We stopped, and why we stopped, we don't know. What we do know is that we've decided to bring it back. Kinda. Spotlight now is us shining the light on Gothenburgian culture. Making beers with people, we think to do really cool stuff.

In 2019 we did a pilsner together with artist Ollio. In 2020 we made a sour French strawberry cake with the vegan pastry outfit Doux Pastry. For our 2022 Spotlight beer, we teamed up with Shelta, one of Scandinavia's top sneaker and street-fashion stores, located right here in Gothenburg.

That last beer became such a hit we're bringing it back. Lager!
