Huge, light lemonyellow coloured head, slowly collapsing with shards of lace over very carbonated, fully cloudy yellow beer. Citrussy, fruity & floral hops' nose, as well as clove, spices, bit of ureum. Spicy flavours dominating with way fainter fruity, mainly citrussy flavours in the background. Bit bitterish pepper, if that exists. Finish, however, is dull and the beer is almost devoid of aftertaste. Light body, spritzy carbonation, wheatslickness. Empty finish. Nose wasn't without promise. After that, it went down as a brick. Apparently, Palm has been instructed by their Bavarian (Swinckelian, not sorry) overlords to manufacture a range of beers for the Dutch 'taste'. Only to be reimported by Ahold (Albert Heijn).
