Blik thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een volle bruinige schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout en caramel. De smaak is vol gebrande mout, toffee en gedroogd rood fruit.

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2024, Friday. A black beer with a beige head. Aroma and Taste of mid sweet dark roasted malt, liquorice, caramel, hints of bourbon.
Zo één van de afsluiters van Billies, de speedronde van zojuist zit erop 😂😄
Dun, droog en bitter in de afdronk. Zonde, want de basis is goed.

Magus, siirupine, pähkline, röstine, linnaseline, kuiv, tummine, kakao. Alksi on ka tunda. Ok, liiga siirup minu jaoks.

Blik 33cl thuis. Vol, romig, koffie, caramel, zoeten, vanille, hout, chocolade, hazelnoot, bourbontonen, roasted malts, wat pindakaas, koffiedrab, licht droog, licht boozy. Fijne balans. (19-2-2023).

33 cl. can shared with Suus @ Alex and Suus. Pitch black with a beige head. Massive chocolate and coffee aroma. Sweet taste with a proper malt bitter finish. Warming but absolutely not boozy which is an accomplisment in itself. Wonderful heavy but light-footed imperial stout.

Can. Color: Black, beige head. Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee. Taste: Smooth, silky mouthfeel. Molasses, sweetish, roasted malt and coffee and cocoa. Earthy. Lightly boozy, but not as boozy as I expected based on 14.6% ABV. Over medium sweet. Moderate to over moderate bitterness. Dry-ish finish. Full body, below average carbonation. Sweetish but nice Imperial Stout.

Very dark brown colour with thick, creamy head. Aroma has toasted, puffed grains. Touch of roasted nuts. Silky texture, slightly warming and boozy. Balanced flavour, not very bitter though. Soft Port, red fruits in the finish.
