Pogie is our take on a Summer Ale. At its heart is a classic English-style pale ale, but we layered it with modern UK (Jester) and US (Azacca) hops, giving abundant citrus and tropical aromas which complement the fruity English yeast. A full-flavoured yet quaffable beer for a sunny afternoon.

Can opens with a hiss and foam is overflowing. Pours a hazy deep yellow orange colour and a firm rocky off white head with good retention. Aroma's: malty, bready, caramel, aromatic hops, some sweet fruit. Retronasal it's a bit fruity, herbs, sweetish, bready malts. Flavour is light bitter with a hint of sweetness. Light bodied. Moderate bitter finish. Nice on this hot day.

Can at home. A bit hazy orange color, white head. Aroma and flavor are nicely hoppy, moderately malty. Light iron touch in the flavor mixed with malt and hoppy bitters. Quite nice.

Can. Color: Hazy golden to orange amber, white head. Aroma: Floral hop, light hints of citrus. Taste: Floral hop, quite dense malty background, notes of citrus zest (grapefruit, lime, blood orange) and some tropical fruit. Hints of caramel and some yeast. Moderate sweet and bitter. Just over medium body, average carbonation.
