New Country (no. 177) Many thanks for this green bottle to mr Marek. Piana spora i nawet srednio trwala, piwo jaskrawe zlociste lekko mgliste nawet pod sam koniec. Slodkawe ale lekko w smaku slonecznikowe, nieco sezam, zblizone do zwyklego jeczmiennego piwa. Jak na Afryke dobra jakosc zwlaszcza w takie upaly.

29/5/2023. Bottle courtesy of Boris and of course Aziz. Many thanks! Pours hazy pale yellow gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is light, fruity, grainy, light banana, cereal, touch bready, hint of spice. Medium sweetness and very light bitterness. Light body, a little watery, soft carbonation. Definite hefeweizen elements here. More enjoyable than expected.

650ml bottle [courtesy of Aziz - merci beaucoup, cher Monsieur !]. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, snow white head. Minimally strawy and grainy, pale malty aroma, a Hefeweizen-like, fruity touch of banana. Taste is sweet-ish, pale malty, moderately bitter hoppy and slightly fruity, hints of banana, dried banana, a touch of papaya. Watery texture, smooth, minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Light and simple, very clean, especially compared to the really traditional sorghum beer (dolo), nice fruity touch - not bad.
