Raspberries are red and so is Flanders red ale. Raspberry Red is our take on this wine-like style, with a hefty dose of whole raspberries added to the base beer to further develop its sweet & sour character. This is one of the most drinkable ales in our portfolio, well-suited to pairing with steaks, cheese and pretty much anything else that goes well with red wine.

Bottle 0.75l, four years aged. Cloudy, reddish amber colored. AROMA- nice raspberry, berries, grapes, touch of wood, funky, not sharp. FLAVOR- velvety, slightly sweet, medium sourness, slightly bitter, tart finish, the same as aroma. Medium to fuller bodied.
Delicious.

Tap at Malt Worm. Thin body, med-high carbonation. High sourness, also medium tartness, initially shocking, but immediately harmonizing with further sips. Very rich natural raspberry character throughout, pits of which provides tha tartness. Light acetic acid provides complexity to this quite funky beer, big barnyard horse blanket flavour. Rich, well balanced, very good.
