This is a light, bright and very satisfying beer. Lightly golden with a bubbly, medium white head that steadily shrinks to a thin foamy lace, the aroma is soft and sweet with grain and very flowery hops. The taste is full bodied grain with lots of green apple and light but persistent hints of pine and herbs, with a light bitterness that persists through to the finish. Eminently satisfying.

Klare, goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, getreidiger, leicht hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich leicht malzig, leicht getreidig, leicht hopfig, leicht würzig. Leichte bis mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, leichter bis mittlerer Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure. Typischer süffiger Durchschnitt.

Bottle from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - golden with a decent head and steady carbonation. Nose - customary sweetcorn and green beans. Taste - more green beans, some light grassiness and well balanced malt profile. Palate - light bodied, very creamy, malty and elegant through the middle. Balanced, gradually tapered finish. Overall - classic Helles style. Good stuff.

Clear pale golden colour, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma malts, mais/corn, light yeast, candy sugar, straw. Taste medium sweet and medium to light bitter, malty, corny. Mild sweetbitter aftertaste, paper, light peppery notes, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, decent helles.
