Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours black with small tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, wood, licorice, bourbon. Thick body, chewy roast, chocolate, dark fruit, oak, boozy, very nice.

Draft, taster. @Peders, Copenhagen (Denmark). 04/05/2023 [#6.150 Global - #957 United States of America - #26 Forager Brewing Company] Pours black with a tiny tan head. Aroma: rich dark chocolate, roasted nuts and oak barrels. Taste: dried fruits, fudge, vanillam toffee and brown sugar. Balanced boozy finish. Lingering sticky palate. Lovely. Next one please!

A black beer, no head. Aroma of heavy bourbon, wood, strong dark malt. Taste of sweet heavy strong dark malt, chocolate, Bourbon, boozy finish.

On tap at Peders, pours black with almost no head. Aroma brings out rich bourbon barrels, followed by subtle dark fruits, toasted nuts and oak. Flavour is rich and complex, with intense dark dried fruits, bourbon barrels, and toffee. Lots of dark sugars, bourbon barrels and dark dried fruits. Wonderful.
