Pours deep golden to the lightest orange, the lightest bit of haziness, a bit more on final pour. Classic huge weizen head, perhaps a little lower than usual; recedes relatively quick though and leaves ltitle lacing. Average intensity in the aroma: strong esters with banana and lemony notes, bubblegum, a light tart/sour suggestion; not showing much depth. Taste notes show a very light dough-like base followed by lemon and banana, bubblegum, a hint of spiciness (clove). Doesn't feel too sweetly chewy like some other weizens but sadly feels somehow 'empty'. Overall obviously sweet, about average per style, and also quite tart for the style as the smell suggested, maybe a bit too much. Light bodied with medium to high carbonation, perhaps a tad lighter than style average in both body and carbonation; highly drinkable, perhaps a little empty/watery. Meh... maybe an unlucky bottle.

Helle Farbe. Gute Menge Hefe = schöne Trübung. Hefe ist generell das beherrschende Thema bei diesem Bier. Bereits beim Schnuppern. Beim Trinken kommen Zitronen-, Grapefruitnoten und ein Hauch Essig dazu. Fast wie eine milde Berliner Weiße. Hinten raus deutlich bittere Noten - hier dürfte neben dem Hopfen vor allem auch die Hefe ihren Beitrag leisten. Kohlensäure eher im oberen Bereich angesiedelt. Das hat durchaus was - allerdings ganz klar „not everybodys darling“. Aber ein erfrischendes und ungewöhnliches Weizen, dem man deutlich anmerkt, dass es wohl in einem ganz kleinen Betrieb handgeschnitzt und mundgeblasen wurde. Das hat Charme.

Bottle. Blonde, cloudy. Banana, mandarin and traubenzucker in the aroma. Citric, somewhat yeasty flavor. Grapefruit and milk in the aftertaste. Thirst quenching weizen.

Leichte Trübung im Glas, in der Nase Nelke, im Trunk recht bitter, Nelke, Bitterkeit weiter auch im Abgang. Mir fehlt die Süße. Edit: Heute nochmal nachgenascht. Deutlich besser diesmal.

Draught at a beer garden and petting zoo in Franconia. Gotta love the Germans, they make drinking a family event. Clean gold with a medium head. Aroma is banana and wheat. Flavour is wheat, bread, dry fruit on a long dry fruit finish.

From tap. Pours hazy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is estery, fruity, banana. Bitter, fruity, estery and banana. Dry, estery and fruity finish. Bubblegum.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, leicht würzig. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig, leicht bananig, etwas würzig.

Der Antrunk ist sehr schön frisch-hefig. Der Hauptteil auch sehr schön süßlich-hefig. Der Nachgeschmack ist leicht herb, dabei schön süßlich-hefig. Sehr süffig, sehr lecker, aber im letzten Teil des Nachgeschmacks leicht muffig.
