We barrel aged our sour base in a Buckeye Lake Winery barrel for about 6 months, then we conditioned it on plums and vanilla. The barrel used was their on site barrel for Cabernet Sauvignon. It's American Oak with medium toasting and toasted heads. It had a constant Cabernet influence for 4 years, and the last wine that was finished in it was 5% Syrah and 95% Cabernet.

Tap @MBCC2023, Yellow Session. Hazy, murky red-ish, offwhite head. Sweet berries and plums aroma, vanilla. Sweet flavour, vanilla sweetness, sour berries.

MBCC. Hazy pale red with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, plum and vanilla. Flavor is quite sweet and light acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. 050523

Tap. Murky pinkish-orange color with pinkish head. Aroma is plums and vanilla indeed, not funked up, yoghurty and cream. Taste is plums, vanilla, cream, and here's the sourness. Thick mouthfeel somehow, with high-ish carbonation. A weird combo.
