Woest is een volle romige Imperial Stout met toetsen van cacao, koffie en vanille. Zo woest als de woeste zee komen de eerste rijke smaken binnen, waarna ze zachtjes weer verdwijnen over je tong als over de horizon. Een gebalanceerde Stout met geroosterde mouten, die heel toegankelijk is voor iedereen die zichzelf wil uitdagen.

Can shared. Dark brown, tan head. Coffee, dark chocolate, earthy, vanilla, alcohol, green leaves, roasted notes, marzipan. Over medium sweet and bitter. Full bodied. OK.

Shortlived yellow-cream head over orange-rimmed almost black beer. Chocolate, vanilla, chocolate bar, Bounty, cheap pralines with pink ganache. Chocolate pralines with cheap cherry flavouring. Sweet and sticky. Good carbonation, some alcoholwarmth. Not-quite-chewy. Bit easy, no? Dutch interpretation of liquid Mon Chéri ? Txs to Stef!

Donkerbruin bier zonder schuim. Smaak is licht bitter en vrij zoet met iets van vanille, wat koffie, geroosterd brood en donker (bramen, bessen) fruit.

10/VIII/24 - 33cl bottle from the brewery, shared @ Mattie’s place, midsummer mussels dinner with the inlaws, BB: 25/VI/25, P02543 (2024-728) Thanks to Martijn for sharing the can!

Clear dark brown beer, big creamy beige head, very stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: chocolate, vanilla, lots of caramel, a bit malty, sugary impression. MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, malty, soft roast, caramel, a little bitter, chocolate. Aftertaste: pretty bitter finish, hoppy, more roast, chocolate, caramel, sweet, lactose maybe, vanilla, marshmallow, dry hoppy finish.

Can at home shared with Laura. Black color, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, sweetness, artificial, milk chocolate of bad quality, sugary. Not good. Bleh.

Can 330ml (Hoptimaal)
Dark brown colour, small beige head. Sweetish vanilla, peanut butter and toasted malts in the nose. Medium-bodied, a bit on light side for 10%. Sweet vanilla, chocolate, some sticky hops in the flavour. Somewhat unbalanced.

33cl can. A dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of sweet and strong dark malt, some coffee and vanilla. Taste of strong dark roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, some vanilla and liquorice.

Het is alsof je op een koude winderige herfstachtige dag langs de kust gaat uitwaaien en je een mega bui op je donder krijgt..en je erna bij een haardvuur een bak warme koffie drinkt..
