500 ml bottle into lager glass, best before L092F054 code. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a small dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of cracker, white bread, light honey, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness. Bit of fruity aromas, but not too overwhelming. Okay aromas with pale malt and mild earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread, light honey, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness. Very mild herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread, light honey, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness of pale malt and mild earthy hop flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Fairly clean on lager flavors, not overly fruity. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a smooth, fairly bready/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is okay. Thin, but not too watery. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is is a pretty solid German pilsener. Nice robustness of pale malt and mild earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the minimally bitter/drying finish. Obviously not fresh, but not bad. Fairly clean pils malts and mild hop balance. Would likely be much better fresh. Not as crisp/refreshing as it should be. Fairly enjoyable.

0.5 l bottle from local ’toom’, best before November 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a relatively large, foamy, dense, stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity-grassy aroma of fresh grass and citrus. Sweetish, slightly fruity-grassy taste of fresh grass and some citrus, followed by a short, just moderately bitter, slightly dry and moderately grassy finish. Thin to medium body, quite smooth and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Quite tasty, very mellow, refreshing. Nice!

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, not too dry. Light hoppy background. Some metallically hints. Finish well balanced, still mild. Average.

Draught at Bolero Bamberg, thanks to Finn for sharing. Clear golden coloured body. Tiny, but lasting white head. Faint grass and pale malts on the nose. Moderate taste profile of buttery malts and grassy hops, rather sweet. Oily palate. Soft carbonated. Okay pilsener (Bamberg 12.10.2014).

Bavarian beer night, just me and some bottles on 19th Aug 2014. 500ml flip-top: BBD 4th Mar 2015. Poured into an old SchlossBrau stemmed tulip glass three times. Good clear golden body, clean and bright with a solid and lasting white crown. Semi-sweet nose with a dry taste, this is a good, regular Pilsner with a pleasant feel to it. Nothing out of the ordinary, just a well made, easy to drink, refreshing beer in a style available all over the world.
