gekauft über einen ukrainischen Online-Shop Ein schweres Pastry Stout, das mit Medenkas, bulgarischen Honigküchlein mit Schoko-Überzug gebraut wurde. Das merkte man natürlich auch im Geschmack, der trotz erhöhtem Alkoholgehalt nicht zu stark war. So kamen schöne Aromen nach Biskuit 🍪 und Honig 🍯 neben den Schokolade-Noten 🍫 durch und erzeugten ein rundes Dessert-Bier. 🎂

Keg at Muted Horn, Berlin, 23/07/22. Black with a good sized tan head cap that clears to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, treacle toffee, sweet malts, vanilla. Taste comprises chocolate, vanilla, dark malts, spice, brown sugar melt. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced boost offered. Tidy impy.

Can, at Mikkeller, Århus. A slightly oily pour reveals a black body and just a tiny, tiny tan head. Some kind of lacing. The aroma has more licorice than coffee I think, along with roasted malts, dark dried fruit, oats and some molasses hints. It's full bodied, soft, warming and not too sweet. Sure on the sweet side though, but there's also a decent bitterness preventing it from going cloying. Licorice, roasted malts, coffee, dark dried fruit and a light backdrop of oats in the flavor. Molasses, brown sugar and a herbal touch. Lasting sweet and warming finish. A pleasant herbal touch too. A very pleasant sipper, but I expected more coffee punch. 231109

Pours black with a brown that that disappears almost immediately. Aroma's of cocoa powder, roasted malt, vanilla, a bit boozy. Retronasal it's full on vanilla and cocoa. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light roasted bitter. Fairly strong alcohol feel. Medium to full bodied. Long finish with vanilla and cocoa, light moderate roasty bitter.

Can bought at Mikkeller CPH Airport in February 2023. Almost black with a small tan head. Sweet with chocolate praline, plum, vanilla and warming notes.

Can, thx S&A&E I guess! Chestnut brown-black body, off-white head. Sweet taste, dried grapes, slick... Lean, dry taste, chocolate, grapes, sweet pistachio ice cream notes, weird! More weird than tasty really. And boozy.
