440 ml can, Boxcar Winter Solstice Robust Porter, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.0%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Small beige head. Aroma of roast malts, dark chocolate, mild coffee and roasted nuts. Soft mouthfeel. Pleasant flavour with the same elements as the aroma, not too sweet. Low bitterness.

440ml can, kindly shared by Finn. Scattered lacing from a stable fawn-coloured head, deep brownish body. Inviting smell of soft dark chocolate, moderately roasted. Malt-forward taste of nutty caramel, chocolate, and figs. Smooth roasted bitterness to the ending, not overly sweet. Well bodied. Good drinking. (Tromsø 11.05.2023).

Delt med Rune på Vervet. Svart. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Blir film. Lakrisaroma. Hint av bær. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken mye lakris. Litt melkesjokolade. Bærpreget henger i. Avslutninga tørr røstet makt.
