Gift from Savad. Nice corked amphora-shaped bottle. Roasted coffee aroma with blackcurrant. Low on carbon (this was had-bottled some 3 or 4 weeks ago, but there’s not a sign of any infection!) Malty, raisinny flavor at first, followed by loads of roast and espresso. Hops are present. A mouthful of beer that seems stronger than its modest ABV.

20/11 On tap at the brewpub. It poured slightly hazy reddish brown body with medium sized light brown head. Interesting caramel, toffee and chocolate aroma with some yeast. Flavor was chalky and milky more than roasted malty, however coffee malt had nice profile and felt more towards the finish. Medium in body with long and pleasant finish, but quite impaired. Not bad, has some qualities, but a bit too yeasty and obviously not in the best shape.

Draught@brewpub (probably served with nitro)
Pitch black color, creamy firm beige head. Licorice candy-caramel in the nose. Light-bodied. Cough candy, lightly toasted flavor. Very light hoppyness in the finish. Imitation of Irish classic stouts. Not much worst than they nowadays are.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown to blackwith a lacing off-white head. Vague aroma, light roasted though. Mild fruity flavoured to a light acidic touch. Lingering roasted malty flavoured alongside a nice hops fruity note into a dry and bitter finish.

A clear stout, dark clear brown with a thick light moka head. Light caramel aroma. In mouth, a light chocolate and black coffee with lots of nuttyness. Very thin in mouth, but nice hopping present. On tap at brewery, mid Nov. 2006.

Draught at the brewpub, sold as Negra
Dark amber color; bigger foam than the other beers here. Light malt and yeast aroma. The taste has quite a lot of caramel. The final is strong and the hop seems good (and a lot of caramel and roasted malt). Not bad.
