Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2023 (MBCC Day 1) - Juicy fruity aroma and taste, lots of big punchy fruity notes, sweet malty backing, solid hoppy finish.

Draught Medium, yellowish head, stable over fully muddy ochre-orange beer. Some asafoetida, but with lots of fruity esters, very aromatic; limepeel, melon, some caramel. Sweetish-bitter, again lots of citrusflavours, grapefruit, lime, ugli... Malty underbuild, as directly from the mash; some sharpish acidity, giving a faint burning MF. Chewy, oily-resiny, well-bodied. Good carbonation. OK!

Draught at source: pours yellow opaque haze. Aroma is tropical, scallions, herbal. Taste is lightly bitter, fruity, somewhat juicy. Fine.

On tap at MBCC 2023, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out juicy stone fruits, citrus, and gentle hops. Flavour is full of juicy stone fruits, dank and citrus hops, and some earthiness. Juicy, stone fruity, and dank. Good stuff.
