Cheap pint can from Ridgeview Liquor, 12/23/23. Amber, mostly clear. Large tan head, average retention. Aroma of toast, caramel, raisin. Taste is grain, caramel, Noble hops. Crisp. Seems stale but I haven’t had it long. Meh.

Gold colour, gentle carbonation, thin head that looks a bit artificial. Aroma is mostly pale malt, some esters. On the palate, it's a bit grainy, but mostly just a malt-accented golden ale with low hop expression. Bigger body than most Labatt beers. Drinkable, I guess.

Aromas aren't bad, simply pale malt and fresh hops. Flavors are similar to nose, but more interesting with good balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Add in a bit of floral, fruit and spice. A touch metallic. Easy drinking.

473ml can. Pours a crystal clear gold with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces. Faint aroma of grainy pale malt and floral hops. Sweet flavour of bready pale malt, lemon, honey and grassy hops in a crisp, dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Nothing too exciting, but it's clean, refreshing and crushable.

Pour is a clear brassy gold with a huge white head. Aroma is beer. Sweet grainy malt. Flavor is more sweet grainy malt with a little generic hop bite at the end. Decent after work no thinking about it beer. For $7 a six of 16oz tall boys you could do worse.

Curious gas statio find, what is this? A dba for Labatt? Or just some weird name. Anyway, pours bright gold with a very full head. Nose is bright and fresh with straw and crackery malt. Light hop nose is a touch catty (?!) and grassy. Flavor is pretty balanced, light-medium bodied biscuity malts, lightly catty hop flavoring, and a medium bitterness. Everything just right there in the balance. Clean fermentation profile. Somewhat creamy presentation. What the hell? This is a damn fine blonde ale, maybe the best of its style I've ever had?!
