IMPORTANT: this is not a beer!!! Zbicień is an old session mead from Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. It's made just from honey, hops, pine tree fresh twigs, and juniper fruits. 100% natural and true. This version is dry with around 7 % of alcohol, from honey which is base for the fermentation process You will feel only aroma and aftertaste.

Pours unclear blonde. Scent is raw, funky, mild on the spices - balance. Taste is sharp, dry, very herbal, raw honey. Medium body, medium high carbo. Ends dry and what seems like very alkalynic.

Bottle @ Park Pub, Augustów. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with mild herbal notes. Bitter and honeylike taste, with notes of malt and herbs and hints of hops and honey. Floral and estery aftertaste. Okay but rather too herbal for me.
